Many of today’s modern illnesses and diseases can be easily avoided and treated with the use of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. There are times however that Western medicine is necessary to combat an illness or assist the body when it’s not functioning properly and in this case, Chinese medicine is a wonderful complement to the process. As a Chinese medicine practitioner, I’ve been privileged to see many cases of healing, even after nothing else worked. I strive to create an individual treatment plan customized specifically to the needs of each patient.

Some recent IVF & Acupuncture research:

Below are two recent research studies from Fertility and Sterility Journal. The Laser study, an abstract from earlier this year and the second study by Dr Magarelli and Dr Cridennda from dec 09, demonstrates why Acupuncture IVF Support increases pregnancy rates. (see video about laser acupuncture study)

LASER ACUPUNCTURE BEFORE AND AFTER EMBRYO TRANSFER IMPROVES ART DELIVERY RATES study

In keeping up to date with the most recent research to provide acupuncture support for couples going through IVF, Body In Bloom Acupuncture is pleased to be able to offer Laser Acupuncture on the day of embryo transfer. This is the largest study on acupuncture and laser acupuncture used as an adjunctive treatment with IVF. The results showed a significant increase in pregnancy in the laser group regardless of transfer type, IVF,ICSI, and FET all showed positive results. Body In Bloom Acupuncture offers day of transfer treatment alone or combined with IVF preparation treatments weeks leading into IVF giving you the most effective treatment possible.
